This was taken at the Toronga Zoo in Australia.  The bear was just posing perfectly while taking his nap. The tree was absolutely full of them.  It was incredible to see such gorgeous animals out in the open when the only place I was used to seeing them was cooped up in cages. These gamonts appear as crystal blue inclusions in monocytes or neutrophils. She was placed under general anesthesia and had spinal radiographs and a CT done. It was suspected that the bear had been shot but managed to escape the hunters only to die from his wounds later.
